Meet the masterminds behind Scissor of the Month Club!

  • Jill Hailey - Jill is the owner and co-founder of Scissor of the month Club. She has found success in her array of dog-focused business ventures, including Foxy Roxy’s Supply Co. and Dogge Shoppe. As a lifelong dog owner and driven entrepreneur, Jill identified an untapped opportunity in the dog grooming world that combined her love for pooches and passion for fun. With that, Scissor of the Month Club was born. 

    Jill is enthusiastic about the mission of Scissor of the Month Club, which is to make grooming fun for an affordable price. This is why every month, members receive a new, exciting, unique pair of scissors unlike any of their past packages.

    Jill welcomes all groomers of all skill levels to reach out with any inquiries or questions, and to the community she is so passionate about. She hopes that SOTMC will become your go-to subscription and community for all things grooming.

  • Blake Hernandez - Blake is the co-founder of Scissor of the month Club. He runs Foxy Roxy's Pet Salon in San Diego, CA, in addition to competing in grooming contests and dog shows all over the country. He is the co-creator and founder of GroomSource, and creates and produces many products with Foxy Roxy's Supply Co. for the professional groomer and now for the everyday dog lover.

    Blake is a featured groomer in Netflix's "DOGS" documentary and a contestant on ABC's Pooch Perfect Season 1, as well as a NCMG and 3-time Barkleigh Honors recipient. Blake has brought innovation and current outside trends to the grooming industry. He has been nominated for 20 Barkleigh Honors in many categories, and is well loved and admired in many facets of our Groomerverse.

    As the main inspiration behind Scissor of the Month Club, Blake’s passion and expertise has been a driving force in the success of the organization and its community.
